At Oakleigh Cases we like to work side by side with the client and feel it is important for you to understand the processes we go through to ensure we deliver a high quality finished product to each of our clients.

First, we listen to our client. What is the case going to be used for? Where is the case going to be used? What is going in the case?

When we have established all the above we prepare a layout drawing of the case. If required, a CAD drawing can be made available to the client. The CAD drawing is fully dimensioned and can be amended by the client. When all aspects of the case have been agreed the client signs off the drawings.

The next stage is to apply the tool paths. The tool paths instruct the CNC which tool to use, at what speed and where to cut. The information is transferred to the CNC machining centre. The board is loaded onto the machine bed, suctioned down to hold is securely and then the CNC cuts out the 6 panels with all the cut-outs for the recessed fittings.

The cut panels are flat packed from the Mill to the Production Floor and the rest of the team set to work to assemble the case and fit out the interior. The finished case is either collected by our client or we ship to them.
