Our foam inserts are cut using a CNC machine (high speed router) which ensures fast cutting times and accuracy. We use a closed cell polyethylene foam, which comes in various colours and densities.
This allowed us to tailor the insert exactly to your needs which allows us to get the best fit for your equipment.
The most reliable way for us to get the best fit is for us to have the kit itself. If this isn’t possible, we are happy to work from CAD models and drawings, e.g. .DXF, .DWG, 3DS, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Parasolids, .stl, .iges, .step (Please phone to confirm if we haven’t listed the format you use.)
When pricing foam inserts we need to consider how much time the insert will take to design, toolpath and machine. (and amount of foam needed to complete the order.
If CAD drawings are provided, this will decrease the design cost.
