For case shell construction we can offer a choice between plywood derived from European Birch and high quality tropical wood. In considering applications and suitability it is indeed acknowledged that Birch is stronger, tougher and harder but it is also less supple, more expensive and above all, heavier! Indeed tropical sheet coated with HPL has a better tolerance to mechanical damage than birch with film.

All based on European Birch we offer three special textures on two thicknesses of birch. Hexamat- an extremely hard non-slip finish, Diamond- audio industry standard diamond pattern brown finish, Stucco- the classic textured aluminium 24swg sheet.

Now the standard for flightcasing HPL sheets offer a protective coating that is tough, hard, moisture resistant and resistant to household chemicals, diluted acids and alkalis. It is easily cleaned with water or steam! The range of colours is most comprehensive and is therefore suitable to match your existing corporate scheme. We only use best quality .9mm HPL bonded using high pressure techniques.

A direct replacement for 6mm plywood providing an incredible 40% weight saving. Manufactured from Polypropylene with a honeycomb centre we have researched and road tested this material for over 12months now.
